Backyard Bible Clubs

Christ Community Church will have Backyard Bible Clubs in seve ral homes this summer (a Backyard Bible Club is like a mini-vacation bible school in people’s homes). Each Backyard Bible Club is three consecutive mornings or evenings in the same home. We plan to have these on July 11th, 12th and 13th and invite the children for a celebration at church the following Sunday, July 15th. The youth group from our sister church in Bartow, Bartow ARP Church, will help us facility the Backyard Bible Clubs. If you are willing to either host a Backyard Bible Club in your home or house some of our guests from Bartow please talk with our Children’s Director, Marsha Haynes {JerMar4725@aol.com or (813) 645-4049. Walk for Life

On Saturday, May 12th there will be at Walk for Life to support LifeCare of Brandon and SouthShore. The SouthShore walk is at EG Simmons Park in Ruskin, FL. Sunday Brunch

Emma’s Cancer Free Celebration!!!

Come celebrate with the Lewis Family that Emma is cancer free!!! There wi ll be plenty of yummy food, fun, friends and a bounce house for the kids. Women’s Retreat

Nine women from our church went on a retreat on March 9 and 10. They went to a Florida ARP Women’s Ministries Spring Retreat at a FFA Campground Center in Haines City, FL. The guest speaker was Valerie E. Shepard. In the first session Valerie shared her testimony with the group. The second session covered Asking and Waiting. The third session covered Work and Waiting. All the group enjoyed their stay at the retreat

Juniors Retreat

The Florida Christian Education Committee is sponsoring a one-night retreat for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders and parents! It begins Friday night, April 20^th and ends Saturday afternoon, April 21^st. All Aboard Class

If you are interested in learning more about Christ Community Church please plan to attend our All Aboard Class on Saturday, February 11^th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. We will meet at Pastor Charlie’s house, 1321 Sheridan Bay Drive, Ruskin. This time together is designed to help you connect with others at Christ Community Church, ask questions, and become more familiar with our values and philosophy of ministry. This is the first step towards membership, however, it is not required after completing the class. Please let Pastor Charlie know if you are attending (813-767-6994).
